Pediatric Dental Assessment
Your First Appointment
The first appointment is an initial visit consisting of dental examination and parent nutritional counseling for children under the age of three, performed to identify the child’s risk of tooth decay, and to identify any developmental concerns. It’s preferable if the exam is performed within six months of the appearance of the child’s first baby tooth. The early childhood exam is essential, because it allows our dentist to monitor child’s teeth and prevent the possibility of dental oral trauma or dental disease.
D0145 – Oral Evaluation for patient under three years of age and counseling with primary caregiver.
