Dr. Hedge has achieved Premier Provider status with Invisalign. Premier Provider Status is for a select group of doctors that have achieved an exceptional level of Invisalign experience by meeting the program’s case and clinical education criteria. Only 5% of all Invisalign practitioners in North America qualify for Premier Provider status.
Dr. Hedge just returned from the Invisalign summitt in Las Vegas this past weekend. A big announcement was made by Invisalign’s CEO. Invisalign will be offering a “Clincheck” at no charge. A Clincheck is a 3D representation of the teeth and smile on a computer. It will show how the teeth will move and what the final smile will look like. We can take impressions of your mouth and send them in to Invisalign for you so you can see how Invisalign treatment would improve your smile. Our fee for the impressions is $95 and can be applied toward Invisalign treatment.
Dr. Hedge was interviewed for this article on cosmetic dentistry and cosmetic dentists that appeared in The Cincinnati Business Courrier June 5, 2006. Click on the link below:
We delivered two cases today that involved matching existing teeth. This is THE most difficult task in cosmetic dentistry. We utilize digital photography, computerized shade matching and an awesome lab to achieve these results.
The first case was the replacement of three old veneers.
The second case involved veneering the two central teeth to restore damage from chipping. The ajacent teeth were whitened with professional tray bleaching.
Cincinnati, Ohio. If you have a loose or floating denture, Dr. Hedge can place some implants to hold it tight. The procedure takes just over an hour and most patients enjoy a meal that night with tight dentures.
The procedure is immediate and painless. It can be used for upper and lower dentures and even partial dentures.
We so often show the effect a cosmetic dental case can have on a smile from the front. This is a case of six veneers and whitening. What a great result, even from a side view.
Denise walked in at nine AM looking like the above picture and walked out at 12:30 with 28 new teeth. She cried when she saw them, and these are just her temporary crowns and veneers.
I will be on the road with my Digital Dentistry lectures in the next few weeks. This Thursday night I will be speaking to a group of laboratory technicians and to a group of dentists on Friday in Chicago. The next week I will be teaching part of the digital photography course at the www.Genr8tnext.com meeting in Dallas. The following Friday, October 28, I will be speaking to a group of doctors in Houston. This is sponsored by Patterson in Houston and the following morning, I will be speaking to the Cerec trainers group of doctors in Charlotte. We are now in the first week of November and I will be teaching and learning at the “Cerec in the Sun” meeting on Grand Cayman. The next Friday is November 11, and I will host a Digital Dentistry course in my office in Cincinnati. Thanksgiving weekend off, then to speak to a study club in Topeka, Kansas on December2. No more lectures for the rest of the year, but a family trip to London for Christmas.
Dr. Hedge will be a keynote speaker at The second annual Woman’s Health Day at Kenwood Country Club on September 29th. He will be speaking on a panel of cosmetic experts that includes two plastic surgeon’s and a cosmetic dermatologist. Dr. Hedge wil be speaking from 12:45 PM till 2:00 PM. Tickets are $40. We have a few compliamentary tickets at the office if you are interested.
Dr. Bob Walker is the most famous chiropractor in the world, when it comes to working with dental patients. He lives on The Gold Coast in Australia. Bob has become a good friend of Dr. Hedge’s. He worked with our patients in May 2005 and spent a few days with Dr. Hedge and his family over the Memorial Day weekend. He will be coming back this weekend for a two day course. Doctor’s from as far away as Fairbanks, Alaska, Seattle, Asheville, and New York City are flying in to attend. We all look forward to learning more to treat our TMJ and pain patients as well as we can.
This patient has had severe headaches, facial pain and neck pain. We placed her in an orthotic for a few months and these symptoms disappeared. Today we prepared her upper arch of teeth and placed her in these temporary crowns and bridges. These new teeth were built to a new bite that was comfortable to her. Prior to today’s visit, she whitened her lower teeth. We will seat the final restorations in a few weeks.
We have had this technology in our office at The Dental Health Center for years.
Morning Edition, July 11, 2005 · A lot of research in the field of dentistry has been devoted to early detection of cavities over the last 20 years. New technologies are promising to find cavities that were once tough to locate.

This a photo of Carmen-Suyapa Alverez, and her mother, who lives in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Our family (the Hedge’s) have sponsored her for many years now through www.PlanUSA.org. We send her care packages every so often and we receive notes from her about her life in Honduras. It takes so little to make a huge difference in a child’s life.
Invisalign has made a new product available to us. Invisalign Express is perfect for those of you that have some minor crowding. Invisalign Express allows us to offer Invisalign treatment for $2800, or $2000 less than our full arch treatment.
Call 513–777–7017 for a complimentary consultation to see if you are a candidate for Invisalign Express.
Julie and Dr. Hedge will be talking about the recent development and popularity of snap in teeth, or a “snap in smile”. The concept of a set of perfectly shaped white teeth that can snap over your own teeth was started in New York and California recently. The procedure is totally non-invasive and will allow you to have the teeth of your dreams for a fraction of the cost of a permenant set. The fee ranges from $1500 to $2000. You can transform your smile to that of Julia Roberts or Brad Pitt in seconds. Dr. Hedge is the first to bring this concept to the midwest. Tune in at 5:40 PM on WVXU or www.WVXU.com for a live web cast.
We now have three sets of Bose Noise Cancellation headphones in our office. If you hate the sounds of dentistry, ask us for a set. We can hook them up to a CD, radio, a movie, sitcom episodes, or DISH network television. Your comfort is our goal.
I am off to the IACA (www.theIACA.com ) meeting in San Diego this week at the Paradise Point Resort on San Diego’s bay. This is the first time I will take along my Airport Express. I should be able to connect the hotel’s ethernet cable to it and have my own wireless network in my room and balcony. No more being tethered to the desk in the room.
