Dr. Bob Walker is the most famous chiropractor in the world, when it comes to working with dental patients. He lives on The Gold Coast in Australia. Bob has become a good friend of Dr. Hedge’s. He worked with our patients in May 2005 and spent a few days with Dr. Hedge and his family over the Memorial Day weekend. He will be coming back this weekend for a two day course. Doctor’s from as far away as Fairbanks, Alaska, Seattle, Asheville, and New York City are flying in to attend. We all look forward to learning more to treat our TMJ and pain patients as well as we can.
This patient has had severe headaches, facial pain and neck pain. We placed her in an orthotic for a few months and these symptoms disappeared. Today we prepared her upper arch of teeth and placed her in these temporary crowns and bridges. These new teeth were built to a new bite that was comfortable to her. Prior to today’s visit, she whitened her lower teeth. We will seat the final restorations in a few weeks.
We have had this technology in our office at The Dental Health Center for years.
Morning Edition, July 11, 2005 · A lot of research in the field of dentistry has been devoted to early detection of cavities over the last 20 years. New technologies are promising to find cavities that were once tough to locate.

This a photo of Carmen-Suyapa Alverez, and her mother, who lives in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Our family (the Hedge’s) have sponsored her for many years now through www.PlanUSA.org. We send her care packages every so often and we receive notes from her about her life in Honduras. It takes so little to make a huge difference in a child’s life.
