How's Your Smile?

What is Full Mouth Revitalization?

People who are successful in life and love, know a winning smile is essential to quickly create attraction and convey leadership and confidence.  A combination of 21st century technology and a new breed of dental art called full mouth revitalization can give anyone the kind of stunning smile that lights up a room.

People are keeping their teeth longer and are living longer today.  As we age, our teeth become worn, yellow, chipped, and stained.  Revitalizing your smile not only will give you white, perfectly straight teeth, but improves your bite, makes you look years younger, and relaxes muscles that might be causing headaches or pain associated with the TMJ.  Opening a bite back to were it once was before wear occurred can also remove wrinkles and folds in the face.  This can give the results of a non-surgical face lift.

Full mouth revitalization can often serve as an alternative to orthognathic or jaw surgery.

Not only can Full Mouth Revitalization correct all of these problems, but you can pre-select the color, shape, size and arrangement of your teeth and smile.

The time required to complete a Full Mouth Revitalization can be as little as three week.  This usually involves a one hour visit, followed by to four hour visits.  Imagine having 28 teeth revitalized in just nine hours of dental time.  Consider that most dentists will take two hours and two visits to do just one crown.

The problem we see with most mouths today is the fact that "there have been many cooks in the kitchen".  Patients have had one tooth fixed at a time as they break.  No two dentists are alike or do things the same way, so there are many different kinds, shapes and colors of tooth restorations in the mouth.  Usually the altered bite is not addressed and often does not fit well.

Following the initial preparation of the teeth, our patients can experience a version of the final teeth with respect to color, size, shape, and the new bite in their temporary phase.  This assures that they will love the final result.

Our cosmetic dental laboratory, Micro Dental in Los Angeles, custom creates the all porcelain teeth that will be permanently bonded to the prepared teeth.

Full Mouth Revitalization can take ten years off of your appearance in just three weeks.  The most common comment we get is, "I should have done this sooner!"

Patients often have many options in restoring their mouth.  Under certain circumstances where the teeth are in good condition, but the bite is misaligned, orthodontics or orthognathic (jaw) surgery may be an option.  There is an interesting Blog where Kevin Sung chronicles his experience with orthognathic surgery.  It can be found at http:// kevinsung.wordpress.com/tag/surgery/.
